Counting, 1:1 Correspondence, Identifying Numbers and understanding the concept of More/Less, are very important basic number sense skills. This fun activity will help you engage your students in learning these skills.

To use the animated PowerPoint: Simply open the file and click to count, reveal the answer, and advance the slides. Ask student to count the cubes and say which is more. Click on the number that they think is more, to reveal if it is correct. Move on to the next slide.

To use the PDF: Print on cardstock, laminate and use with a dry erase marker or print on regular paper and write on it directly. Ask student to count the cubes, write in each amount and say which is more. Student can circle the number that is more.
