This 47 page "STAND UP AND LEARN" Literacy Center activity was designed for visual learners and young students who may need a little "wiggle room" while completing work tasks, while also aligned with Common Core State Standards. With a selection of 29 images including; holidays, familiar events, community buildings, people, transportation, and much more, you can review, or challenge your students all while they are moving and learning! As an added bonus, you can also print a set to use as independent work for students who may need the time to work by themselves, or even use as file folder activities. Be creative by placing two categories that may be similar or those with great differences. Some categories may require pre-teaching and are perfect for holidays that you may want to cover (ex. Martin Luther King, Jr., Election Day, President's Day). There are 6 picture/word cards for each “What Belongs?” board.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE! Just print on white card stock using the portrait setting, laminate, cut out picture/word cards, add some velcro and enjoy for many months! Mount on a wall, back of a bookshelf or place at a learning center.
