Sorting Objects into Categories Activity (with picture prompts) for Speech Therapy, Special Education, and Autism is a great activity for children with special needs. Learning categories is critical to language development. After teaching students different categories in small and whole group settings place this task in an independent work area. You can find different flashcard sets and activities in my store.
The categories included are:
body parts,
farm animals,
zoo animals,

vegetables,

footwear.
There are 25 pages to be printed on photo paper and laminated. You`ll get 2 sets of boards: 1st set with picture prompts and the 2nd set without prompts. Cut the cards out and use hook and loop dots in the middle of each blanc square on the boards and on the backside of each card.
Given pictures of objects to sort by category, STUDENT will place each picture in the corresponding category with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
